Considering lovegeek has been made in Japan for the past six months, we figure it makes sense to base the next zine on our experiences here.

As artists, there is endless stimulation not only in the vast neon metropolises or beautiful country escapes, but also in the contradictions and quirks of Japanese culture, religion and way of life. So we invite people who have lived and worked in Japan as artists, musicians, missionaries, whatever, to be involved in Issue Four of lovegeek ‘we live in the future’.

We know heaps of people that went to art school and came out of it ok (you started it fresh eyed for a reason, right?). That’s why for Issue Three of lovegeek we want to show just how useful our arts/philosophy/fine arts/film degrees are. (FYI Barack Obama has a B.A! There is hope for us all!).

I’m not sure if Weezer went to art school, but these are the kind of people you will meet there. Also, you may learn how to make videos like Spike Jonze, but I am pretty sure he didn’t go to art school either…Anyway! Just watch the video!
