My Creative Space this week involves zine covers! I am trying out designs for the print version of lovegeek. It’s fun, but I really want to print on this A7 paper, which will be hard in the long run I think! Eppp!

I had been reading people in Sydney were having trouble finding Pip Jane Bijkerek’s to die for book Paris Made By Hand.
Well guess what? Better Read Than Dead on King St., Newtown, has it sitting on their front counter! I just had to buy it, and picked up a penguin classic coffee mug while I was there.

My Creative Space this week revolves around cutting out felt characters for a stop motion Hon and I are making on the weekend! FUN!
On a side note, my little digital camera is having trouble with this rainy weather light 
I think it’s time for that G10 upgrade!

My creative space this week has primarily been www.seek.com.au, as I am looking for a new job. I return home to Australia next month (that soon?).
But today I stopped by the 100 yen store on my way home and picked up some craft goodies:
1. Letter stickers which I have already used 50% of.
2. Cute as craft cutters shaped like hearts, bears and a vespa!
3. Kitty Chan zip lock bags for packing all my mini toys in for shipping next week!
I also got some felt to make some crafty post cards on the weekend!

Kootoyoo is a lovely online shop that sells hand made items from Melbourne. They also have a great feature running on their blog called My Creative Space which encourages you to post up photos of where you are getting creative this week (be it your desk, the park, Japan…). So, here is my first attempt:
I wanted to take a picture of my postcards and photos, as we are leaving the house soon and will have to take them down before the inspection. I am not sure how inspiring an empty wall will be to look at…
Also featured are some of my miniature toys from Japan that I have been taking photos of this afternoon. I can’t wait to make a cute display case for them all once I return to Sydney.
